From the very start, everything was extremely well organised. We were welcomed with a proper breakfast before setting off, which immediately set a good tone for the day ☕️🥐 Our tour guide Emma was excellent throughout. She was friendly, calm, knowledgeable and really on top of keeping the day running smoothly without it ever feeling rushed.
The Similan Islands themselves are absolutely unreal 🤯 I’ve travelled a lot, but the water clarity here is on another level and easily the clearest water I’ve ever seen. Snorkelling was a huge highlight, with incredible up close GoPro footage of sea turtles and schools of fish in crystal clear conditions 🐢🐠 Visibility was amazing and the snorkelling spots chosen felt well planned rather than overcrowded.
Lunch was a buffet and for a group tour it was surprisingly good with plenty of choice 🍽️ Water and soft drinks were available all day free of charge, which makes a big difference on a long and hot island hopping day 💦 The breakfast before departure was also a really nice touch.
The speedboat journey was around 1 hour 20 minutes each way 🚤 On the way out it was smooth, but the return was quite choppy due to the sea conditions. It was absolutely fine for most people, but if you have a serious back injury or ongoing back issues it is something worth keeping in mind. I mention it purely to be helpful for anyone planning ahead.
Overall this was a genuinely outstanding experience from start to finish ⭐️ I’ll be doing the exact same tour again in two weeks with my partner as she was ill this morning and couldn’t make it unfortunately. If you’re considering the Similan Islands, this tour is absolutely worth it.

We did an Phi-Phi Early Morning X-Large tour with Siam Adventure. They picked us sharp at 5:00 AM from our hotel near Kata Beach. And we departed at about 6:30 AM. There were 33 people (incl. kids) on the speed boat. Some seats were empty, probably thanks to kids as well.
Overall our trip was really amazing. Will recommend this to anyone. Our host Daniele and August made our trip super amazing. They were entertaining, friendly and insightful.
For activities, while we couldnt due to a previous injury, there was Snorkling near National Park (going inside Park beach was not allowed), swimming in Lagoon and at Bamboo Island.
We even did hiking to capture an amazing view from Phi
Phi Don Island.
The lunch was quite delicious and ample quantity. Friend chicken, Chicken Curry, Rice, Pad Thai, 3 variety of sauces and more. They even took care of special lunch boxes for vegetarian, pea nut allergies and kid foods.
Note: The photographer charges were extra. But you can click photos by yourself as well.
Note: Booking through agent gave us a better rate. I am quite surprised you get a better rate through agent than directly, we tried to negotiate. Agents generally sit at hotel receptions.

Wir haben heute (28.06.2026) die Phi Phi Insel Tour Frühbucher Tour mit Siam Adventure World gemacht – und sind von Anfang bis Ende absolut zufrieden.
Der Fahrer war pünktlich am vereinbarten Treffpunkt, der Transfer lief reibungslos und vor Ort ging es direkt organisiert weiter. Es gab ein kleines Frühstück, völlig in Ordnung – einzig der Kaffee war etwas stark, aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Nach einer kurzen, klaren Einweisung ging es direkt mit dem Schnellboot los. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns Maya Bay: Entgegen vieler Bewertungen war es dort überhaupt nicht überlaufen. Wir konnten in Ruhe Fotos machen und sogar Haie beobachten – ein echtes Highlight.
Ich spare mir bewusst eine komplette Auflistung aller Stopps und Erlebnisse – das sollte man selbst entdecken. Die Tour lebt genau davon.
Was ich aber ausdrücklich hervorheben will:
Zu keinem Zeitpunkt wurde uns irgendetwas aufgedrängt oder versucht zu verkaufen. Kein nerviges „Upselling“, kein Druck – einfach entspannt genießen. Außerdem hat die Crew konsequent unseren Müll eingesammelt und sauber entsorgt. Das ist leider nicht selbstverständlich und verdient Respekt. Das habe ich auch direkt vor Ort so zurückgemeldet.
Fazit: Top organisiert, professionell durchgeführt, angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir werden definitiv noch mindestens eine weitere Tour mit euch machen, solange wir hier sind.

We did the early bird Phi Phi Islands tour with Siam Adventure World today (28/06/2026) – and we were completely satisfied from start to finish.
The driver picked us up right on time at the agreed meeting point, the transfer was smooth, and everything on site was well organized. There was a small breakfast, which was absolutely fine – the only minor point was that the coffee was a bit strong, but that’s really complaining at a high level.
After a short and clear briefing, we headed out straight away on the speedboat. Maya Bay was a particularly pleasant surprise: contrary to many reviews, it was not crowded at all. We were able to take photos in peace and even spot sharks – a real highlight.
I’ll deliberately skip listing every stop and activity – that’s something you should experience for yourself. That’s exactly what makes the tour special.
What I really want to highlight:
At no point did anyone try to upsell or push anything on us. No pressure, no annoying sales tactics – just a relaxed experience. Also, the crew consistently collected and properly disposed of all the trash we produced. That’s unfortunately not a given and deserves real credit. I also mentioned this personally to the crew.
Conclusion: Very well organized, professionally run, and a great overall atmosphere. We will definitely book at least one more tour with you while we’re still here.

Auf der Early Bird Tour ging es auf die Surin Islands. Es war eine superschöne Tour bei perfekten Wetterbedingungen - strahlender Sonnenschein und kristallklares Wasser.😎☀️ Unser Guide Lucas hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Neben Informationen zu den Inseln, Tieren und Pflanzen über und unter Wasser, gab es es immer auch die besten Tips an welchen Stellen wir an den Spots das beste Erlebnis haben. 😀👌🏻
Auch die beiden anderen Guides waren sehr hilfsbereit. Insgesamt waren wir an drei Stellen zum Schnorcheln. Dazu noch ein Besuch im Dorf der Moken. Ein Mittagessen zwischendurch gab es auch noch.
Der Katamaran, den wir benutzten, war an allen Punkten des Programms das erste Boot. 👍🏻 Es war nie überfüllt und perfekt für tolle Bilder. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen und vielleicht mache ich die Tour irgendwann mal wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Tag. 😃👍🏻

Wow. Ein wirklich toller Ausflug nach Surin. Sehr zu empfehlen. Und Fabio ist ein toller Guide, der mit einer sehr freundlichen Art sehr viel erzählen kann. Tolle Tipps, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben es auch noch nie erlebt, dass ein Reiseführer eine verlorene Handtasche -in dem Falle auf Surin- selber ins Hotel nachträglich zurückgebracht hat. Dafür ein herzliches Danke an Fabio.

Excellent Early-Bird-Tours to Similan & Surin Islands – Perfectly Organised
We joined Siam Adventure Tours for the second time in late February 2026 from Khao Lak and can highly recommend this operator. From the first booking step to the end of the tour, everything was perfectly organised and handled professionally and reliably.
Our first trip two years ago was to the Similan Islands, and this time we visited the Surin Islands. Both were fantastic experiences. The Similan Islands offer more spectacular scenery, while the Surin Islands are among the best snorkelling destinations in Thailand.
On the day of our trip, around 11 company boats went to the Similan Islands, but only 2 went to Surin, making Surin feel far less crowded and much more exclusive. The early start and the flexibility of the crew ensured a truly great experience.
This time, we even had the pleasure of travelling on a brand-new, comfortable catamaran. Fabio and his crew were outstanding – always attentive and focused on the guests’ well-being. Drinks and snacks were served on board, and the snorkelling briefings were clear and helpful. After the final snorkelling stop, guests were rinsed with fresh water; quite pleasant. In addition to masks and snorkels, adjustable fins were provided, which is a real advantage.
The snorkelling spots were adapted to the wind conditions, and we even saw sharks while often being the only boat at the sites. Wearing a life vest was mandatory, but not an issue after a short explanation on how to float comfortably.
The Surin Islands are truly one of the best snorkelling areas in Thailand. On land, the guides also made an effort to show us local wildlife, the so-called “lemurs” resting in the trees.
If we had one minor suggestion: we personally preferred the lunch box from the Similan tour over the buffet offered on this trip – but this is only a small detail.
Overall, a fantastic experience. We highly recommend booking the early tour – it is absolutely worth every cent.
