The Snorkeling Experience – The Surin Islands are rated as one of the top snorkeling locations in Thailand. Long broad and shallow coral reefs line the sheltered eastern coast providing extensive opportunities for beginners. The Surin Islands Marine Park hosts a phenomenal range of flora and fauna on the land and in the sea. The Surin islands are populated only by a group of nomadic sea people “Mokens” who usually live in the Burmese Mergui Archipelago. Enjoy a long snorkeling stop at Ao Mae Yai, visit the unique Moken Village and meet the locals, spend time on a white sand beach and eat yummy Thai food at the National Park Restaurant. Then enjoy another snorkeling stop at Chong Kad Bay or at Suthep Bay.
When Surin Islands are open?
Surin Islands are a National park open from October 15th until May 15th of each year.
We reserve the right to change or adjust the itinerary if necessary due to weather changes, tide levels, sea conditions, or any unforeseeable circumstances.
Wake up (yes we know it's early but is worth it!) and transfer to the pier, meet our tour guide and departure to the splendid Surin Islands by Siam Adventure World speedboat.

The Moken Sea Gypsies use to navigate around the islands and stay in different bays, yet nowadays they are permanently located on Surin Tai, the big southern Island.
The Moken village in Ao Bon Yai counts 70 households that are inhabited by 300 people. The village also hosts a health center, a school, and an information center.
Relax, swim and sunbathe at the beach before enjoy your yummy lunch.
